To The Mouse House We Go....

Do you know the feeling of when you have really exciting news but you can't share it immediately and it burns a hole in your brain from excitement and anticipation....but you just have to wait it out for the right time?

If your answer is yes...then you totally understand my sentiments right now.

And for anyone questioning....nope, I'm not aboard the pregnant train my friends.

But what I will be aboard is a flight to Orlando, Florida in less than 30 days, hand in hand with my daughter and mother, standing in front of beautiful castle because...

Yassssssssss!!!!

After months of planning and figuring out logistics, meals, reservations, and all things Disney, we are down to our last thirty day countdown to go experience the most Magical Place on Earth and I'm so excited to finally be able to share it already.

To those who may have known me from my last blog, you'll remember that back in my younger years, I actually worked at Disney World through the Disney College Program. I worked at the Liberty Inn restaurant at the American Adventure pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase for eight months during the College Program and then proceeded to stay and work there, as well as at the Disney resorts as a fitness center attendant.

For those five years I lived in Florida and had many experiences, Disney was always a very huge part of it. I'm so thankful for that experience and opportunity and it will hands down, besides the birth of my child, be one of the best experiences of my life.

So to say that I'm excited for this opportunity to take my daughter and be able to live the magic through her eyes would be an understatement.

I've dreamt of the days of taking my daughter to see the magicalness of 'real life' princesses and characters and she is at such a sweet age where all of this is so real and enchanting to her.

I can't wait for the ears and smiles and treats and excitement.
To watch the castle light up in fireworks while I hold my girl, hand in hand with my own mother...three generations experiencing Disney World together.

* I'm also not ignorant to the fact that we will be there during the most hot and most crowded time of the year, so I'm sure not everything will be magical...but Amaya will also enjoy Disney two weeks later when she goes with her Daddy so we're keeping our expectations low.
